Just recently a very popular German company Frosch made its products available in the US!! Frosch is focused on environmentally friendly cleaning products taking into account every step of the way from the product production to the packaging. Frosh products use natural ingredients, no damaging chemicals, skin-friendly, and the company has it own water treatment plant. Talk about committed to the environment!.
The first product we put to the test was the Frosch Pomegranate Dishwashing Liquid. It has a wonderful smell and cleans up even the messiest things– and in our house that is paint, lots and lots of paint. It did not leave your skin feeling stripped or dry after using- which is great when you have a ton of dishes to wash. It fought paint and did amazing with grease.
My 4-year-old enjoyed cleaning his dishes and I really enjoyed that he cleaned them.

I always was able to try several other products from their product line.
My favorite product was the Baking Soda All Purpose Cleaner. It did a great job of cleaning our kitchen counters. What was really amazing about this product is that it left our slate counters (it is unusually but they are great!) looking shinning unlike most cleaners which leave the slate looking dull and striped.
If you want to give Frosch a try I recommend the Frosch Kitchen Power Kit. It will give you a chance to try the Baking Soda Dishwashing Liquid, Grapefruit Kitchen Cleaner Spray, Lavender Universal Cleaner, Lemon Cream Cleaner.
Frosch’s surfactant initiatives
This is so important and something I had/have to struggle with for my handcrafted soaps and shows that the company is really taking every aspect of their product into consideration. From Frosch’s website:
Frosch uses only plant-based surfactants. Unlike other brands, Frosch seeks to minimize the use of surfactants from tropical sources. When necessary, Frosch purchases only RSPO-certified Palm Kernel Oil. Tropical surfactant production has led to significant rain forest degradation in countries like Indonesia and also leads to a larger carbon footprint as raw materials have to travel long distances to production facilities.
