Thumbshots.com is an amazing service that allows you to embed a thumbnail screenshot of a website. This is great to use to promote a site or blog, show off your portfolio or writing.
To get started go to Thumbshots.com to sign up for your free account.
You then will get a code that looks like this:
<img src=”http://open.thumbshots.org/image.aspx?url=[LINK]” border=”1″ />
And this code must be on every page you want to use the thumbnail:
<a href=”http://www.thumbshots.com” target=”_blank” title=”Thumbnails Screenshots by Thumbshots”>Thumbnail Screenshots by Thumbshots</a>
Change where it says LINK to the link you want to embed the screenshot. And there you go!

Tips: I made the reference back to thumbshots.com in white above… so it won’t mess with the look and design of the page.
Negatives: It doesn’t seem to update site very often. When I do hollenzoodesigns.com it is showing a screenshot from over 2 years ago! Also, If you want a larger thumbnail you have to upgrade to the paid service.
