After painting the bed room on Saturday, in was time to put in the furniture and transform this junk room in to a functioning bedroom.
Scott started with the bed.
As usually, we had our resident helper, Gatsby, to decipher the instructions.
And if Gatsby can’t be in a lap, he decides to beg for the window to be opened.
But it was too cold to open the window, he decided to attack the box with his friend Buttercup, who is looking for mischief of her own.
Which she found in the form of a wooden peg for the bed frame. We found her chewing it in the other room. But even with a few teeth marks, it still works.
After putting together the bed, night table, and Poang Chair ($89). The finished product is revealed! We now have a “guest room.” Once we get closer to the stork arriving, we will add the crib, pictures, and other items.
So let’s look at the before:
Next on the list: add a special door for the room.
Love it!
Erika!!! It looks soo sweet. You guys must be so so excited!
