OK, so every year we set out goals for ourselves. We evaluate things we want to change and voe to transform ourselves this year. Usually the resolution involves things we know we can’t keep or live up to such never eat another sweet again, become a millionaire, not ever say another curse word. Those goals are great, and they make up think about our past bad habits, and for awhile change them.
But here is my New Year’s Resolution. I voe to post one thing each week that I am personally working on to be happier and healthier. Each weeks goal will not be a mountain to climb, but one small healthy habit that I need to try to integrate into my life (or reintegrate) for that week. I will try to keep that healthy goal going after that week but the goal is to integrate healthy habits in small doses to make trying healthy habits the goal not just for one habit to stick.
Each week will be simple goals, and if you want you can try some of the goals as well. Or post in the comments your goals for the year, month, day, week. Or give me a suggestions for a healthy goal of the week.

what fun. i don't set resolutions per say, because i'm always striving to do better, live stronger, and maintain presence in the moment. so, i'm vowing to keep on keeping on while living healthier & peaceful in mind, body and spirit with each breath…with each new day.
cheers.
I want to actually keep track of my income and expenses for my shop!

My New Years resulution is to pay it forward each day and to be thankful for the job I have as well as try to look on the bright side of all situations. Dwelling on the past has just been draining and accomplishes nothing.
Megan– I am with you on the keeping track of expenses! One thing I did this past year was to set a google calender to reminder every week to set aside time to keep that money in order! The annoying email reminders help me get it done each week (well most weeks!).
Suzanne– I agree with you on being present in the moment. Any suggestions on what I can try one week to work on this– let me know! Always looking for new ways/ideas.
I have several goals for this year:
1. To volunteer on a regular basis (particularly with the Make-A-WIsh Foundation, for whom I am already a volunteer)
2. To lose weight in order to become pregnant in good health
3. To declutter. Too much stuff! To donate things to people who need them, rather than have them sit in my house gathering dust and taking up space
Brooke-
I have the same three goals.
I volunteer with caring canines.
We are trying to get prego!
And I want to shed some weight.
And decluttering must happen– or my house will cave in on itself.
Pretty much the next three months I am working on healthy eating, then getting rid of clutter.
